1974 - LOCATION: Disneyland, CA. A second generation Californian not born into a show business family, at the age of 15 years old Deon began his entertainment carreer at Disneyland performing in parades and in the Disney character department.
1977 - LOCATION: Sarasota, Fl. He was known through out high school as a class clown but did not realize his full potential until attending Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Clown College in 1977.
Deon worked with the Ringling Bros Circus as well as smaller traveling circuses throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
1983 - location: Eleuthera, Bahamas Then Deon moved to the Bahamas where he was in charge of Club Med's Circus program, his duties included teaching circus skills from flying trapeze to juggling to adults and their children .
1988 - LOCATION: Hollywood, Ca. Deon was selected and trained by the original "Bozo the Clown" Larry Harmon to portray the worlds most famous clown. He went on to portray BOZO in live stage shows as well as writing and producing the "Bozo TV show" in Philadelphia PA. and Providence RI.
2014 - location: Orange County, Ca. The last 25 years Deon returned home to Southern California where he has raised two daughters and continued to work in numerous entertainment projects from feature films and television to trade shows and corporate entertainment. When he isn't working Deon is an avid Stand up Paddle Surfer, Kitesurfer, and Snowboarder. He is a longtime volunteer with groups that teach wounded Marines to surf and at risk teens to snowboard.
